With collaboration and continuous updates being core principles of the Digital Skills Organisation (DSO), we believe Showcases are a vehicle that enables a unique view of our important projects and updates from the past 90 days - the first of which was our Q1 Showcase: Changing behaviour, testing assumptions and trialling something new
In continuing these quarterly updates, DSO CEO, Patrick Kidd, was joined by Cameron McIntyre from carsales, Sally Curtain from Kangan Institute and Karl Redenbach from LiveTiles to discuss their new collaborative pilot, the Cremorne Project.
Discussions centred around the local employment market in Cremorne, Melbourne and how progressive employers are working with local registered training providers to reinvent how they will attract, upskill and employ digital talent.
To hear more about how a team is coming together to implement best practice solutions with a focus on getting the right talent into work with the right skills, watch the video below:
“Skills are the pension of the future,” said Sally Curtain.
“I encourage our fellow training providers to innovate, to embark on a pioneering phase just as we are here with the Digital Skills Organisation as part of the Cremorne Project.”
This was a successful event, thanks in the largest part to the attendees who tuned in to hear how employers and training providers are working together with the DSO to address both immediate needs and develop a long term community focussed on supporting and developing diverse digital talent.
